As always,Whisky Live! is about much more than whisky. As well as being able to sample other products such as chocolates and craft beers, we also have a program of entertainment planned for the Main Stage.
Back for the 4th time as DJ and MC is Tokyo’s top “Scotch-Jock” DJ, Guy Perryman.
Guy will be selecting the music to go along with those drams, and generally making sure everything runs to time. Details of what Guy is up to at the moment can be seen at:
www.guyperryman.com
Guy will be joined on stage by fellow MC and singer, Mari Stone. Mari will also be performing with her band "Sesshin".
Kilts & Kimonos, DJs & dresses, Suits & skirts, or Tartan & tweed. In fact,
anything that makes you stand out from the crowd!
We were so impressed with the smart turnout at last year’s Whisky Live! that
we’ve decided to offer prizes this year to the best dressed people.
Dave Broom & Guy will be handing out tickets during the day to those they
consider to have made that extra effort. These people will then all be asked
up on stage towards the end of the day so that we can determine our
winners).
We're delighted to welcome to Live! the fantastic Naomi Grace. Jazz-pop singer Naomi has recently released her first CD album "Solo in the Spotlight" and will performing songs from this on the main stage throughout the day. Details of Naomi's career and music can be seen at:

Our very own 'Punk Piper', Tomohiro Onuki, will be entertaining Live participants with his bagpipes, giving several performances throughout the day.

In a change to the talkshow format up to now, Whisky Magazine Japan’s Editor Dave Broom will be chairing a Live! debate, where 2 of our Scottish panellers will fight it out over a topical subject.
By popular request we will be bringing back the Blending Competition of 2007, although in a slightly different guise. One of the world’s leading master blenders will first demonstrate his art, before challenging volunteers from the audience to create their own winning blend.
We will have 2 book-signing during the day:
Master Blender and Whisky Nose Richard Paterson will be signing copies of his recently-released book "Goodness Nose", a delightful journey through Richard’s life in whisky, whilst world-renown Swedish collector Ulf Buxrud will will be offering his encyclopedic “Japanese Whisky: facts, figures & taste”.
Both book-signings will take place at the Whisky Magazine Shop in the foyer.
